Governor Ben Ayade Gives Out Cars For 2019 Election Campaign – Citizens React (Photos)

It seems the citizens of crossriver are not happy with the state Governor, Ben Ayade as he releases new vehicles for the 2019 election campaign.
According to a social change agent Joseph Odok:
When a government spends bail out funds, state’s revenue and everything only for his campaign. Our PVCs will tell him that the electorate are his masters and he our servant. You can’t have our votes and neglect us. He can take campaigns to Channels TV, AIT, NTA, when we the electorate are in Calabar, he may complete Super High Way in bill boards, he may deceive opportunist and think he can buy our votes as he has always boasted.
Our PVCs will vote from our experience of Yala and Obudu dust, we will votes according to failed promise of bursary to our students, that never saw the light of the day; we will vote from the experience of our dilapidated schools; we will vote according to the experience of collapsed Water Board system; we will votes according to our experience of communal wars that has never seen the government visit or take any step to end crisis.
we will vote according to our experience of increased cultism, kidnapping, armed robbery, extra judicial killings, assassinations and related crisis; we will vote according to our experience of political victimization and desperation that tends to reduce CRS to a private property of one man who comes out each time to brag that he buys our votes; we will votes according to our frustrations that sees the governor coming each day to tell us that he came to put food on our table’
we will vote according to our experience of a governor that gave us Ayade transport and scholarships only to stop all after getting our votes
One thing the Senate has done well is the strengthening of the electoral system making rigging almost an impossibility. It is performance not intimidation that can compel us to vote. 2019 will tell
