Liverpool’s Sadio Mane ready to play for Senegal – Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Sadio Mane should be ready to face South Africa in crucial back-to-back 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers this month.
There were fears that the Senegal international would have to sit out of the upcoming home and away qualifiers after suffering a hamstring injury while on international duty with the Teranga Lions last month, but Mane has returned to training and could feature for his club this weekend.
Klopp stated at his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon that the forward could play 20-25 minutes off the bench at West Ham United this on Saturday.

“We’re trying to get in touch with the Senegal FA. Sadio is not injured anymore, but is he 100% fit? That’s different,” Klopp said.
“The ideal situation is that he doesn’t play the second game. If he can play for Senegal, I think he should – good for rhythm,” he concluded.
The 25-year-old has scored three goals in five Premier League games for the Merseyside club in a season that so far been disrupted by injury and suspension.
