Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Consumer Services and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.


At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.11%.


The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS), which rose 3.42% or 9.0 points to trade at 272.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 2.96% or 6.7 points to end at 233.1 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.11% or 154 points to 7462 in late trade.


The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 2.00% or 20.0 points to trade at 982.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) declined 1.26% or 3.4 points to end at 266.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 1.01% or 3.5 points to 344.0.


Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 49 and 16 ended unchanged.


Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.40% or 0.77 to $55.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.13% or 0.66 to hit $59.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.73% or 11.15 to trade at $1512.45 a troy ounce.


USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.7206, while EUR/DKK rose 0.06% to 7.4572.


The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 98.118.
